In July 2009, SGCH was required to submit an application for Registration due to changes in the Housing Act. This means the organisation needs to demonstrate its capacity to own, build and manage social housing.
Registration places increased accountability on our organisation in areas such as tenancy management, tenant participation, finance and asset management and SGCH expects to be awarded a Class 1 registration in the coming months.
