What we do

We collaboratively shape great places through sustainable, safe and affordable housing and connect people to opportunity to improve quality of life.

A leading business, in a thriving community housing industry, providing great places for everyone.

Our Strategic Plan

At SGCH, we strive to deliver excellence through innovative approaches to the products and services we provide.  We deliver on our vision by providing two main housing products:

  • Social Housing – Secure, long-term housing for people on very low to moderate incomes
  • Affordable Housing – Subsidised rental accommodation for people working in key services on low to moderate incomes

Providing Great Places

Providing people with access to homes, at a price they can afford, in a location where they can be part of their community is the foundation of a thriving economy and the backbone of a strong society. It’s also critical to providing great places for everyone and successful urban renewal.

We recognise that participation in social and economic opportunities can lead to increased independence and better emotional, physical and financial wellbeing for our customers.

Creating Sustainable Communities

We are investing in priority locations across Sydney and providing local responses to community needs.
