Community Engagement Coordinator

Following the CPP team’s recent expansion, we have an exciting permanent opportunity to join our Metro North East Sydney Customers team, as a Community Engagement Coordinator. This role is full-time, based between our St Leonards and Redfern offices and reports to the Place Coordinator.

As a Community Engagement Coordinator, you work with social housing tenants and their local community to identify and deliver activities and services that benefit the community and empower tenants to be more involved.

In this role you will connect with our customers to:

  • provide responsive and respectful customer-centric services
  • coordinate community development and placemaking activities designed to meet the needs of social housing communities
  • build trust with social housing communities using best practice community engagement techniques
  • be responsive and flexible to requests, apply attention to detail and prioritise tasks to meet customer needs and timeframes
  • organise and attend tenant community meetings, events and activities
  • enhance tenant health and wellbeing through placemaking and partnership practices
  • collaborate with the Customers team, partners and stakeholders to enhance community engagement and support sustainable outcomes.
