About the Senior Business Analyst Partner role and about you 

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst Partner to join the SGCH Corporate Planning, Sustainability and Projects team. As the Senior Business Analyst Partner will work as part of the Data Governance team to support business projects and change initiatives to achieve strategic objectives. You will contribute your special business process engineering skills to analyse current state processes, system functions, policies and business rules. You will work collaboratively with business stakeholders/external consultants to map processes, gather requirements and confirm business needs.

To be successful in this role, you will have great organisational and communication skills, strong process re-engineering skills and have a passion to collaborate with stakeholders and facilitate conversations to get feedback and outcomes.

This is a permanent role, working from our Hurstville offices under a hybrid working arrangement with travel required to other SGCH offices (relocation to either Redfern or Liverpool in late 2024). 

About you (essential requirements)

The successful candidate for this role will have: 

  • Qualifications in business process re-engineering or 5+ years’ experience working in business analytical roles
  • Extensive experience in business process re-engineering and mapping business requirements
  • Strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops to map ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ process flows and requirements
  • Experience partnering across business teams, building strong relationships to successfully deliver strategic priorities
  • Experience automating report production using dashboard tools to generate business insights for decision making
  • Strong written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office programs
  • Proficient in Power BI
