2 December 2025

Twenty two affordable apartments have become available at Hills Showground Village in Castle Hill. These homes will offer much-needed rental options for low- to moderate-income households in the Hills District.

Developed by leading Sydney builder and developer Deicorp, the apartments are part of its commitment to creating inclusive communities. The newly available rental apartments include a mix of five one-bedroom, 13 two-bedroom, and four three-bedroom homes.

Deicorp has partnered with community housing provider St George Community Housing (SGCH) to lease and manage the affordable apartments. SGCH has deep experience in housing operations and tenant support, and will oversee tenant selection, leasing and ongoing property management for eligible residents.

Located just steps from Hills Showground Metro Station, the precinct features a total of 430 apartments, 9,500sqm of retail space and a 1,400sqm public plaza, creating a lively and well-connected community hub.

“This is our first affordable housing project in the Hills District and we’re proud to be part of a development that offers residents access to transport, retail and open space,” said SGCH CEO Debi Marriott-Lavery. “These homes are a tangible step towards addressing the housing crisis and helping more people live well.”

Deicorp Founder and Chairman Fouad Deiri OAM said, “Like all Deicorp projects, Hills Showground Village is designed to be inclusive and connected. Partnering with SGCH ensures that our affordable housing is delivered to a high standard and meets the needs of local residents.”

SGCH’s involvement at Hills Showground Village follows the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Deicorp, paving the way for future collaboration between the two organisations on affordable housing projects.
