One of Sydney’s most active resident groups – Residents Organisation at Riverwood or ROAR – held an information session, and decided to get the jab too, to avoid the flu this winter. True believers in community, ROAR members were delighted to welcome more residents to the fold. Six new members signed up on the day.

SGCH’s Sarah from the South West Sydney Connected Communities team also took the opportunity to present certificates to acknowledge ROAR’s hard work and contribution to their community.

On the way home, 29 customers took the opportunity to get their annual flu vaccination with Sydney Local District Health bringing a nurse onsite. Sydney Local District Health thanked SGCH for connecting them with the Riverwood community.
