Our teams took part in the Yabun Festival, the largest community-led celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, held at Victoria Park in Sydney’s Inner West.  

The festival showcased the richness of First Nations heritage through music, dance, art and storytelling.  

SGCH team members set up a community stall, chatting to festival attendees, handing out merchandise featuring the beautiful designs of artist Alysha Menzel, a proud descendant of the Samsep people of Erub Island in the Torres Strait.
