Our South West Connecting Communities team recently held an Easter colouring-in competition that engaged many of our youngest customers – we received 125 neatly coloured entries in total.
Staff at the Bonnyrigg office played an important role in the competition process, helping to choose the lucky winners from the many beautiful submissions. The prizes we were able to give out were eight Easter hampers and four family passes to the Royal Easter Show.
One of our winning customers, Alex, completed the colouring competition with his young granddaughter and took out a family pass to the Easter show. Another customer, from Liverpool, was extremely excited and told staff that, as a single mother to four children, this was the only way she would be able to take them to the Easter show. The family’s delight was infectious!
Also for Easter, SGCH donated two Easter hampers to Riverwood Public School for its Easter raffle and these were given out during the Easter hat parade. The school has expressed its sincere gratitude for SGCH’s support.
More than 100 Easter eggs were provided to ROAR by SGCH for their Easter egg hunt, with one ROAR member reporting that “the children had so much fun!” during the hunt, which took place at the final Friday barbecue of Term one.
