SGCH maintains a longstanding partnership with a private developer, collaborating on small to medium developments which SGCH manages as social and affordable housing for the duration of 25-years.
In May 2019, SGCH began tenanting 26 new homes in this four-storey. Tenants pay affordable rents based on income and the area’s market rent. The property is well connected to transport, education and major employment hubs and has become home to people from the social housing waiting list and local key workers. With a focus on housing older women and women experiencing domestic violence, the new site is making a big difference to the lives of tenants.
As part of the SAHF program, households in this development are offered tailored support coordination services to assist with access to services and opportunities.
