NAIDOC Week 2026: 50 Years of Deadly

6 July 2026

As we approach NAIDOC Week (5–12 July), we are proud to celebrate this year’s theme, “50 Years of Deadly”- a significant milestone honouring five decades of advocacy, culture, resilience and community.

This theme recognises the people who have shaped and strengthened the movement over the past 50 years: the Elders who stood firm, the organisers who created opportunities for connection and change, the artists who transformed stories and experiences into powerful expressions, and the communities who continue to lead, support and inspire.

Following National Reconciliation Week, we are reminded that reconciliation is everyone’s responsibility. Meaningful progress is built through listening, learning, strengthening understanding and acting together.

We are proud to support and participate in a range of community events during NAIDOC Week and beyond, celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories and achievements.
